  1. MiniApp's for OS/2 2.0

  5. About "System Shutdown Plus":
  6.  
  7.      System Shutdown Plus is a MiniApp which will Shutdown your OS/2 system.  
  8. Also, an option is included which will allow you to have your background *.BMP 
  9. picture change for each time you start OS/2.

  11. Install Procedure:
  12.  
  13.      To install the MiniApp "System Shutdown Plus" without the Bitmap Changer, 
  14. enter an OS/2 command screen (either a window or a full screen), and type:
  15.   
  16.         install {source path}
  17.  
  18.      The program will be installed in C:\miniapp\shutdown.
  19.  
  20.       To install the MiniApp "System Shutdown Plus" with the Bitmap Changer,
  21. enter an OS/2 command screen (either a window or a full screen), and type:
  22.  
  23.         install {source path} BMPSWTCH {Path and name of 1st file} {Path and name of 2nd file}
  24.  
  25.      For the Path and name of 1st file, enter the location and name of the 
  26. first Bitmap file you want to use with the Bitmap Changer.  (ex. C:\bitmaps\mybmp.bmp)  
  27. Do the same for the second one as well.  After install is finished, open the 
  28. settings window on the Desktop, and choose the Background tab.  Then choose the
  29. image button, and after that, type "C:\miniapp\shutdown\currentb.bmp" in the
  30. text entry field.

  32. Usage Procedure:
  33.  
  34.      To use this MiniApp, double click on the System Shutdown Icon that is 
  35. placed on the desktop, and then the system will start to shutdown. If you have
  36. installed the bitmap changer, your background will be switched for the next time
  37. you shutdown.
